Portugal is World’s 4th Safest Country

The latest rank Global Peace Index (GPI) elaborated by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), ranks Portugal as the 4th safest country in the world.

The GPI is the world’s leading measure of global peacefulness and covers 99.7% of the world’s population, using 23 qualitative and quantitative indicators from highly respected sources, and measures the state of peace across three domains:

– the level of Societal Safety and Security,

– the extent of Ongoing Domestic and International Conflict,

– and the degree of Militarisation.

Portugal – the “California of Europe”

O diário Espanhol “Marca” afirma que Portugal está cada vez a ser reconhecido como a “California da Europa” devido à segurança e tranquilidade relativamente a outros destinos Europeus, realça as praias do Algarve e Alentejo,  assim como o charme de Lisboa, e menciona que muitos famosos passam férias em Portugal e acabam por comprar casa.

The Spanish newspaper “Marca” states that Portugal is increasingly recognized as the “California of Europe” due to its safety and tranquility relatively to other European destinations, along with the great beaches in Algarve and Alentejo as well as the charm of Lisbon. It also recalls that several famous people are spending holidays and buying houses in Portugal.

Tourist Guide for Monte Gordo and surroundings

World Travel Awards – Algarve
