Seasun Vacation Rentals is a family owned business that offers prime locations in Monte Gordo’s most exquisite seafront neighborhood – located 45 minutes by car from Faro Airport, 1h30m from Seville, 3 hours from Lisbon, 20 minutes from Tavira and 5 minutes away from the Natural Reserve of Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António.
Our charming apartments are fully equipped (kitchen, etc.), offer free wireless internet, foreign TV channels, and have splendid all-day sunny balconies where you can enjoy amazing views over the sea and the white-sand beaches of the beautiful Monte Gordo’s bay (a Blue Flag beach for more than 2 decades and certified as “Gold Quality” by Quercus).
Our balconies are equipped with outdoor furniture and overhead shades that you can adjust in order to savor home-cooked meals, read your favorite book, or get a sun tan. Sea swimming and romantic walks along the endless sand beach are just a couple of steps away!
You may also get fresh seafood from the local artisan fishermen (spot the small traditional boats from the balcony as they arrive to their designated west beach zone). If you love the smell of pine trees, there are nice trails within walking distance (<5min) where you can run, walk, or bike around the vast sand dunes (and encounter several internationally renowned athletes).
Our most friendly staff speaks English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, and can provide you with useful information about local activities and events. Within short walking distance from the Seasun Vacation Rentals you can find supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, pharmacy, ATMs/banks, casino, bars, cybercafes, beach clubs, bike rentals, SPA, gym, taxi, rent-a-car, public transportation, travel agencies, and several other services/activities. From Monte Gordo you can access the transportation hub in Vila Real de Santo Antonio (VRSA) to do short trips in Portugal (e.g. Lisbon, using EVA bus), Spain (e.g. Seville or Algeciras, using Alsa bus), or even Morocco (e.g. FRS ferries from Tarifa or Algeciras). The VRSA Sports Complex, accredited by IAAF and home of the Portuguese Olympic Committee, is located just 2km down the road. Some of the best European golf courses are located nearby Monte Gordo (e.g. “Quinta de Cima” and “Quinta da Ria” – Michelin/Peugeot Golf Guide). Faro airport (FAO) is located 60km away (aprox. 45min by car) and you can access it via public transportation systems or the more convenient private shuttle services (e.g. Top 10 by TripAdvisor).
